The Inside World Festival of Interiors (INSIDE) has announced projects for its 2023 shortlist,
It celebrates the finest examples of international interior design from around the world.
The announcement comes ahead of the 2023 live event, which will be held in Singapore, at Marina Bay Sands,
from November 29 to December 1.
INSIDE is the sister festival to the World Architecture Festival (WAF), the world’s largest living architecture awards programme.
All of the Inside and WAF finalists will present their projects to a panel of judges live at the International Festival in Singapore.
Shortlisted for the Inside World Festival of Interiors
The Inside World Festival of Interiors shortlist features more than 70 interior projects from around the world.
In cities including: New York, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Bangkok, Mumbai, Istanbul, Kiev, Helsinki, Madrid and London.
Neri & Hu, Atelier Tao + C, Woods Bagot and Rapt Studio are among the design firms shortlisted this year.
Many emerging design firms will also be on stage, competing with big names.
“This year’s entries are absolutely up to the criteria,” said Paul Finch, Inside Program Director.
It shows an enthusiasm for life and color that reminds us of the important contribution design makes to the everyday world.”
The Inside shortlist celebrates the best new interiors completed across eleven categories,
From residences, hotels, bars and restaurants to workplaces, public buildings and use at the same time,
Each gives a window into the latest interior design innovations, concepts, processes and trends from around the world.
Jury for the Inside World Festival of Interiors
The judging panel for this year’s Inside Awards is made up of international industry experts,
Including Linzi Cassels of Perkins + Will, Vincent de Graaf of AIM Architecture, Simone de Gale of Simone de Gale Architects,
Friedrich Ludwig of ACME and Ingrid van der Heijden of Civic.
The shortlist for the Inside World Festival of Interiors follows the announcement of the WAF shortlist,
It celebrates the world’s best new completed buildings, landscapes and futuristic architecture concepts across 33 categories.
For its 16th edition, Inside and WAF return to the world-class venue Marina Bay Sands,
The global community of designers and architects last met in Singapore, in 2015.
In addition to the unique live awards program and critical presentations,
this year’s event program will include keynote speakers and personalities from an international panel of speakers.
On the final day of the festival, the category winners from all eleven Inside Awards will go head-to-head for the 2023 Interior Design Award.
On the same day, the WAF Finalists will compete against each other for Landscape of the Year.
And the future project of the year, and ultimately the global construction of the year.
