The identity of Jeddah Season 2022 expresses cultural diversity, global openness, and a mixture of fun,

The launch of the events of the Jeddah Season 2022 comes after the success of the Riyadh Season,
which recorded more than 15 million visits over five months.
The Jeddah Season 2022, under the slogan “Our Beautiful Days”, aims to promote cultural diversity,
entertainment and openness to the world.
Jeddah’s first season
Jeddah’s first season was held in the coastal city in 2019, and recorded more than 15 million visitors from the Kingdom and abroad.
However, the 2020 and 2021 editions have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the precautionary measures taken by the Saudi authorities.
The Jeddah Season is part of a national strategic initiative, the Saudi Seasons,
which was launched not only to enrich the lives of people in the Kingdom, citizens and residents alike,
but also to present the country as an important global tourism destination.
The Saudi Seasons initiative also aims to highlight the culture, entertainment and sports in the Kingdom.
Construction of Jeddah Season 2022
The construction of the 2022 Jeddah Season includes, for this edition, Jeddah Al Ghaba, Jeddah Yacht Club,
Prince Majid Park, City Walk Zone, Jeddah Pier, Jeddah Art Walk, Al Jawhara Stadium,
Jeddah Superdome, and Al Balad, the heritage area also known as The Bride of the Red Sea.
Comic Con fans will enjoy animation events at the City Walk Zone,
while the largest zoo in the country will take place inside the Jeddah jungle.
There will also be a fireworks display on the Corniche every night, in addition to an ongoing science festival,
and a range of performances by Arab and international names, including K-Pop stars.
Also new restaurants, cafes, theme parks,
and even a show created especially for the occasion by Cirque du Soleil Fuzion, which will run for a month.
Organizers are keen to build on the global recognition the city has gained from hosting events such as Formula One.
The season will also officially open the Jeddah Yacht Club over the Eid weekend,
while Prince Majid Park will host weekly bazaars, exhibitions and a fairground.
The festival, which was created to celebrate Jeddah’s heritage, is also part of a broader strategy to boost the city’s position as a tourist destination, as well as being part of one of the Saudi seasons.
In turn, this is part of the kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030 plan to diversify away from fossil fuels and make the country a major tourist destination.
