to Prominent International Delegation Led by U.S. President
Riyadh – May 2025
At a major public investment event, the Public Investment Fund pavilion witnessed a live presentation of the Diriyah Project model. This event was attended by high-profile international figures. Most notably, former U.S. President Donald Trump attended, alongside HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the architect of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

A Model That Tells a Story of Revival
Guests gathered around a detailed architectural model representing the ambitious expansion of the Diriyah Gate Project. The Diriyah Project seeks to revive the first Saudi capital and transform it into a global heritage destination.
Project CEO Jerry Inzerillo walked the delegation through the vision. He noted that the initiative goes beyond restoration to build a comprehensive cultural and economic experience. It is rooted in Najdi identity and reimagined for the modern world.
A Diplomatic Moment Reflecting Strategic Partnerships
The presence of the former U.S. President, walking side-by-side with the Crown Prince, highlights the ongoing strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the United States. This partnership is particularly strong in investment, tourism, and urban development, all of which are integral components of the Diriyah Project.
Where the Past Meets the Future
The Diriyah Project includes heritage zones, museums, hotels, public spaces, and cultural institutions. It is being developed in phases with oversight from the Diriyah Gate Development Authority. Additionally, it has financial backing from the PIF.
ArchUp continues to follow the progress of this project as part of its mission to document the architectural trajectory of major developments in the Kingdom.
