TerraViva Competitions is inviting architects all over the world to take part in The Golden Sand Waterfront Architecture Competition to create a “Lingomare” for Lignano Sabbiadoro.

TerraViva Competitions invites submissions for The Golden Sand Waterfront: an Architecture Contest to create a “Lingomare” in Lignano Sabbiadoro. This is the introductory contest of an ambitious reflecting multiple and consecutive events to accommodate the revitalization of certain targeted areas within the city. The goal of the contest is to create a masterplan that augments the waterfront in a sustainable and ecological way, with an emphasis on improved mobility and environmental preservation in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy.

TerraViva wants participants to think of creative and exceptional strategies to revamp the coastal region into an alluring public space for citizens and seasonal visitors alike. While presenting a master plan for the entire area, the proposal should also have a clear, concrete vision of how the major focal points of the site will take on their new physical and visual shape. Moreover, The intervention area being “Lungomare Riccardo Riva”, certain integral locations will be mentioned in the guide located on the TerraViva website.

Eligibility

Are you an architect, designer, student, urbanist, engineer, artist with an interest in the fields of architecture and urban design? If so, you can join the competition either as an individual or as part of a team.

Prize

The 1st Prize winning design will receive 7,000 Euro.
