The Red Sea Development Company announced the completion of the main construction works on the Ritz-Carlton Amaala resort project, located in the heart of Triple Bay. This project will be one of the first completed projects within the first phase of the luxury tourism destination, Amaala.
This comes within the framework of the growing strategic partnership between The Red Sea Development Company and Marriott International, and marks the fourth collaboration between the two parties after successful projects including The St. Regis Red Sea, Nujoomah, and The Red Sea Edition.
The Ritz-Carlton: An Exceptional Location with Dual Views
The luxury resort is located on a stunning waterfront, directly overlooking the Marina Village on one side and the foothills of the mountains on the other, making it a unique destination that combines the pleasures of the beach with the beauty of the wilderness.
The project includes 391 hotel rooms, 80% of which are designed with sea views, providing visitors with an unforgettable visual and mental experience.
Environmentally Respecting and Heritage-Reflecting Design
Designed by British firm Foster + Partners, the resort blends contemporary architecture with the local character inspired by the nearby historic city of Al Wajh.
The developers also took care to preserve the surrounding sand dunes, which have become part of the resort’s design and are used as natural canopies for the outdoor spaces, providing a unique and sustainable environmental experience.
The Ritz-Carlton : High-End Facilities and Comprehensive Leisure Experiences
The resort features a wide range of recreational and sports facilities, including:
Three swimming pools (for children, adults, and a rock pool).
A luxurious spa offering therapeutic and healing services.
A state-of-the-art fitness center.
Fine-quality restaurants with panoramic views, some of which are dedicated to sunset.
It also features a multi-purpose ballroom that can accommodate more than 1,500 guests, in addition to meeting rooms and private event spaces, making it ideal for weddings, conferences, and corporate events.
Part of the larger Amaala dream
The project is part of the first phase of the Triple Bay development, which will include eight resorts offering more than 1,400 hotel rooms. Upon completion, Amaala will feature more than 4,000 rooms across 30 hotels, in addition to more than 1,200 residential units, including luxury apartments and villas.
In addition to the hotel, it will feature upscale retail, international restaurants, and recreational facilities, creating an ideal destination that combines nature, luxury, and privacy.
The Ritz-Carlton : Opening Date
The Ritz-Carlton Amaala is expected to officially open in 2025, marking one of the most prominent hospitality achievements of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and a global model for combining luxury and sustainability.
