Design Concept
The design of Shanan Anji Deep Stream Hotel draws inspiration from the concept of blending old and new, with a nod to the region’s pre-Hispanic history. The complex of peach-hued buildings, resembling partially ruined structures reclaimed by nature, creates a sense of timelessness amidst the lush greenery. Zhu’s meticulous attention to detail, from floor plans to artworks, reflects his dedication to crafting a harmonious environment for guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.
Arrival Experience
Guests are welcomed to the hotel with a scenic journey through tall bamboo, intended to slow their pace and heighten anticipation. The reception area, located within an old building converted into a communal space named Chi, offers stunning views through giant picture windows. Moreover, Designed with minimalist aesthetics and earthy tones, this space exudes warmth and relaxation. Thus, providing a serene setting for guests to begin their retreat.

The hotel comprises three buildings constructed from rammed earth, each offering a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape.
