You can imagine a place beyond imagination like no other on earth,
a place with stunning landscapes and outstanding architecture,
this place is TROJENA and it is coming to NEOM.
They have revealed their plans for a unique year-round destination located in the Neum Mountains.
Trogina design
TROJENA blends natural and sophisticated landscapes,
and has been designed with a focus on sustainability, innovation and place making,
this will not only be a tourist destination, but the pinnacle of new experiences.
TROJENA offers non-stop adventure, cosmopolitan relaxation, and breathtaking views.
And part of Saudi Vision 2030, TROJENA will be one of the most ambitious projects to date.
Six world-class development zones have been inhabited,
each centered around distinct experiences and excursions, and aims to reimagine the concept of mountain life.
TROJENA’s unique climate and location make it an ideal tourist destination for living in the mountains.
Located 50 km off the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba, it will offer a wide range of special experiences and activities –
including outdoor skiing, diving, hiking and more than 100 experiences.
It is also located at an altitude of 2,600 meters above sea level and about 10°C cooler on average than the rest of Saudi Arabia.
TROJENA will also cover a mountainous area of 1,400 square kilometers,
with only 57 square kilometres being developed, furthering NEOM’s stringent environmental principles.
Furthermore, each architectural icon will be carefully mapped to the mountainous terrain.
The Vault
This includes The Vault, an advanced technology portal and a one-off folded vertical village that connects the physical and global TROJENA realms.
Sculpted into a mountain landscape, The Vault will also feature a media and technology space,
a fun landscape, a digital hub as well as an estimated 450 stylish apartments.
In addition to more than 1,000 luxury hotel rooms, exquisite experiences and 13,000 square meters of retail and dining venues.
TROJENA will be more than just a unique destination, it is a major catalyst for economic growth –
creating a wealth of opportunities for local and international businesses.
With plans for more than 3,600 luxury hotel rooms and rentals,
the goal is to attract 700,000 tourists annually by 2030.
In addition to being a highly desirable travel destination, TROJENA will also be a charming place to live,
with over 2,200 homes planned.
The goal may be to have 7,000 residents by 2030.
The combined impact of these efforts is expected to result in a positive impact of SAR 3 billion on Saudi GDP – in addition to creating 10,000 jobs.
