Smart Homes For Smart Ones
Vhaye & Kess is a real estate company based in Nigeria. It is more of a company involved in the various fields within real estate, as it aims to provide a complete service and experience for its customers. The company deals in building, buying and selling of houses, management, marketing, interiors and more.
The brand’s target audiences are Medium and High income/net worth individuals in Nigeria.
The challenge was to create a visual identity that represented V&K, her various services and helps the brand establish trust with her potential customers, communicating her values and mission. The brand believes smart homes are the present and the future and is keen to build such smart homes to ushers in the future of homes.
The first step was to understand V&K's audience, define the brand's attributes and the core message. We concluded with the following:
Ultimate Illumination
These also guided the colour direction of the brand. The colours of the year for 2021, the Ultimate Grey and Illuminating Yellow were chosen as V&K's colours. The ultimate grey and black were chosen as the brand’s primary colours with the illuminating yellow and two shades of deep orange chosen as secondary colours in order to communicate to the target audience effectively.
Vhaye & Kess is inspired by European architecture and it aims to blend the luxury and beauty of such architecture with Nigerian architecture, bring world class buildings and architecture to the Nigerian space.
The brand’s visual language is influenced by European Architecture. Twelve geometric patterns were created that shows the basic foundations of European Architecture.

I’ve worked with Paul Kelly on two different projects and I can honestly say, I’m mostly intrigued by his innovative detailed attention to details. He’s got a smart mind to his craft and while that is rare, I’m also fascinated by his creativity, timeliness and enthusiastic approach to his work.
