Chemical Backpack Sprayer
An ergonomic chemical backpack sprayer designed to take as much stress off of the lower back and shoulders as possible. The backpack is equipped with shoulder straps, a chest strap, and a
waist belt, along with removable shoulder blade pads and a lumbar support pad. As for the shell, the white areas are a hard plastic, while the blue-tinted areas are supposed to be a tinted, transluscent plastic, allowing the user to see how full the tank is. The model was CNC milled out
of wood, after an extra 20 pounds of weight was added. The straps, belt, and pads were hand sown. This was a collaborative project. The project was featured on the Savannah College of Art and Design web page.
