Al-Dahou District dates back more than two hundred years, as it was in the middle of Riyadh in the fifties of the last century before the urban area expanded northward.

The district was named Al-Dahou due to its dense population, as it was a vital center for population centers.

The neighborhood is characterized by its narrow alleys and traditional houses that reflect the Najdi architectural style, which was formed by the surrounding geographical environment.

The area is located near Wadi Hanifa, and is surrounded by agricultural palm oases, reflecting the residents’ close connection to the land and nature.
