The visualization shows 300 space missions in which animals and micro-creatures participated from 1947 to 2019. The missions have been grouped by animal and year. For each year the following data are indicated: the total number of missions, the total number of animals sent into space, the animals' gender (when available) and the geographical region of the country that organized the mission.
