As the successful candidate you will be leading this D&B company’s in-house design team and will be responsible for overseeing and managing architectural projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with clients, colleagues, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, high-end residential architectural designs.
As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background and focus within high-end residential design, focused on high-end extensions and refurbishments in and around the London area.
Your duties will include surveying and designing residential extensions, refurbishments, and conversions, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets, creating detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and models, conducting site visits to assess project feasibility and gather relevant information, collaborating with clients and colleagues to understand project requirements, and more.
You must be proficient using software such as Sketchup, ArchiCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, and AutoCAD. Ideally you will be up to date with knowledge of residential planning policy across London Boroughs. A strong design eye and technical understanding, along with a passion for joinery techniques and detailing is a prerequisite.
