In a milestone moment for the upcoming global exhibition, the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) has officially approved the registration of Riyadh Expo 2030. The organization announced the registration during its 176th General Assembly in Paris.

A key step towards launching the global event

The official registration marks the completion of Saudi Arabia’s formal preparations. It paves the way for the transition from planning to implementation. This approval allows the Kingdom to begin executing the architectural and infrastructure plans. Saudi Arabia will host the event in its capital from October 2030 to March 2031

A comprehensive vision for the future of Riyadh

During a registration symposium held in parallel with the assembly in Paris, the Saudi delegation presented a detailed vision for the Expo site. It is located in the northern part of Riyadh. The architectural approach emphasized sustainability, environmental integration, and a modern identity inspired by the city’s evolving character.
