Architecture Competition: Cyclist House

Participants in this competition are encouraged to provide creative housing options that actively support and celebrate cycling as a lifestyle, in addition to offering space for bikers. The design is free in terms of scale, site, and program, but it must be presented in a single drawing.

The design’s potential to persuade non-cyclists to embrace the lifestyle is the main focus. Aside from storage options, accessibility, safety, materials, and potential tech connections, it should also consider other factors that could strengthen the idea of a home centered around cycling. What can be done with architecture and design to make a place that connects the locals with their environment and promotes and facilitates cycling as a daily activity?
