Digital tools serve different tasks, from geometric modelling to building information and visualisation. Define outputs, file exchange and coordination needs before selecting software.
Select tools for task, interoperability and training; a software name alone does not establish design quality.
Rhino supports modelling, Revit building information workflows, and SketchUp modelling and visualisation; V-Ray is a renderer. Features and licensing vary by version. A short selection should not be labelled a top-ten list.
