DotCone highlights an in and out speaker that spaces into its doc

Consolidating two straightforward shapes to make a sculptural stylish, the DotCone speaker for conveying sound that can travel in a real sense

Mechanical designer Lidia Gómez turned the idiom ‘structure follows work’ on its head with the DotCone speaker.

The idea began with an investigation into the structure, consolidating two straightforward shapes to make the speaker’s last debut; a circle and a triangle.

In the wake of trying different things with how these two shapes could be assembled, Gómez was enlivened to join a capacity that would permit clients to eliminate the speaker from its dock.

“Since our ways of life are more versatile nowadays, we can use DotCone both inside and outside,” says Gómez.

“You can effortlessly eliminate the speaker from the wooden base by sliding vertical, permitting clients to remotely listen to music.”

When the speaker is inside, the wooden base holds it to further develop its sound quality while charging it simultaneously.

A basic connection point comprising of a reserve button and volume control is on the facade of the dock.

In the meantime, a different point of interaction with the actual speaker allows clients to control volume in a hurry.

DotCone – Basic shape, beautiful design

The DotCone speaker consolidates the straightforwardness of the present day with the most significant level of usefulness.

Gómez’s utilization of straightforward structures helps to accomplish a moderate and rich plan, with the utilization of normal materials. For example, wood, which is profoundly reminiscent of the biophilic plan.

Meanwhile, its sculptural appearance is suggestive of the plan pattern led inside the business by semblances of Bang and Olufsen.
