Drone – a Plane – the new Parrot SWING in an x-shape!

Home » News » Drone – a Plane – the new Parrot SWING in an x-shape!

The Parrot SWING is a clever piece of design and engineering that combines the features of a quadcopter and a plane into a single snappy piece of design and engineering perfection.

It includes a 60-meter control range and numerous sensors for accurate control, as well as an autopilot mode. Drone aficionados will no longer have to choose between a quadcopter and an aircraft, thanks to the French drone company Parrot.

The Plane’s Speed and the Quadcopter’s Stability

The new X-shaped drone resembles a standard quadcopter.

Things change once it’s in flight, though.

Moreover, the SWING drone’s clever design allows it to tilt forward and transform into a front-propeller plane.

This drone can attain a top speed of 18 miles per hour when in-plane mode.

SWING can combine the stability of a quadcopter with the speed of a plane thanks to its dual capability.

The Parrot SWING comes with its own Flypad, which allows you to accurately control the plane in addition to its dual-use.

Additionally, you can use the Flypad to operate your drone and acquire in-flight information like speed and battery status by docking your phone into it.

Parrot Swing, Simple and Enjoyable to Use

It comes with some stunts pre-installed, including the full loop and barrel roll.

With a single click, you can do any of those maneuvers.

The SWING features a control distance of 60 meters and plenty of sensors for accurate control, and an autopilot mode.

Furthermore, the ease of use is one of the features that sets Parrot’s SWING apart in the drone business.

Parrot has done an excellent job of simplifying the operation of this drone.

With auto takeoff and landing, getting this drone into the air is as simple as pressing a button.

Simply click the takeoff button on the Flypad, and the Parrot SWING will soar to the skies, ready to dominate the skies.
