DxD: Paul Revere Williams Day celebrates inclusivity in design-related professions! This free Block Party event hosted on April 2nd, 2022 in Downtown Los Angeles will host a student competition of graphic design work. This competition will showcase the design talents of students ages 10-18, and will award prizes to the top 5 submissions selected through public voting on the day of the event.
All graphic design submissions will be printed (at no cost to the student) and exhibited during the event for public voting, after which prize winners will be announced.
THE SUBMISSIONS FOR THIS COMPETITION SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
− A graphic design image that includes the letters ‘DxD’.
− This graphic/image may be a photo, drawing, painting, digital image, mixed media, or any other original artwork that is created solely by the student.
− Graphics inspired by Paul R. Williams buildings or designs are highly encouraged. − The graphic should be 1080px wide and tall, in square format.
IMPORTANT DATES
– Submissions Open: Friday, February 11th, 2022
– Submissions Due: Friday, March 18th, 2022
– PRW Day & Public Judging: Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, 9am-3pm
– Awards Announced: Saturday, April 2nd, 2022
SUBMISSION RULES – Image/graphic must be created by a student aged 10-18 with no other help. – Image must be submitted via the online form no later than 11:59pm on Friday, March 18th, 2022. – Images should be in .jpg, .png, .tif, or .pdf format. – Submissions must include contact information for a parent and/or guardian. – You must be willing to have your work publicly exhibited and voted on.
