Designblok Prague International Design Festival 2026 returns to Prague for its 28th edition from October 7–11, 2026, with the professional program and Designblok Talks beginning on October 6. As one of Central Europe’s largest celebrations of design and fashion, the festival brings together leading brands, independent designers, creative studios, students, architects, and international industry professionals.

The 2026 edition explores the theme “Light”, presenting light as a symbol of hope, truth, knowledge, and life while examining its practical, artistic, and cultural dimensions. Major exhibitions and installations will take place across some of Prague’s most iconic venues, including the Trade Fair Palace, Prague Castle, Museum of Decorative Arts, and Výstaviště Praha.

The festival’s program features Superstudio, showcasing the latest innovations from Czech and international design brands; Openstudio, dedicated to independent designers, creative studios, and emerging talent; and Diploma Selection, an international platform presenting outstanding graduates in product and fashion design. The program is complemented by Designblok Talks, offering an international conference with prominent figures from the worlds of architecture and design.

With its combination of exhibitions, installations, talks, emerging talent, and industry presentations, Designblok 2026 offers a dynamic meeting point for contemporary design, creativity, innovation, and cultural exchange in the heart of Prague.
