INAMARINE 2026 Indonesia maritime and offshore exhibition banner showcasing shipbuilding, shipyard technology, marine engineering, and port industry solutions in Jakarta

Overview

INAMARINE is Indonesia’s largest international trade exhibition dedicated to the shipbuilding, offshore, marine equipment, machinery, and materials industries, organised by PT. Global Expo Management (GEM Indonesia). Now in its 14th edition, it is held at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) in Kemayoran and runs as the only annual B2B marine industry exhibition in Indonesia. While the event sits outside the conventional scope of architecture and design, it is directly relevant to professionals engaged in port infrastructure, waterfront construction, offshore facility design, and coastal and marine engineering projects.

Focus

The exhibition covers the full maritime and offshore supply chain, including shipbuilding and ship repair, marine machinery and equipment, offshore structures, port and logistics systems, marine communication technologies, welding and coating materials, fluid power systems, and safety equipment. The co-located shows INAWELDING and INACOATING extend the scope into industrial materials and protective coatings, which carry relevance for building materials professionals working on marine-adjacent or industrial infrastructure projects. The event is supported by Indonesia’s Ministry of Transportation and key industry associations including IPERINDO and INSA.

Indonesia’s archipelagic geography, with over 17,000 islands and coastlines spanning more than 95,000 kilometres, makes maritime infrastructure a structural national priority. INAMARINE operates within this context as the primary annual sourcing and networking platform for the country’s shipbuilding and offshore sector.

Program

The three-day event combines an open B2B exhibition floor with a concurrent forum and seminar programme.

Main Exhibition Floor

Exhibitors span marine equipment manufacturers, shipyard operators, offshore contractors, logistics and port service providers, communication technology suppliers, lubrication companies, and safety equipment manufacturers from Indonesia and internationally. The floor is organised for direct B2B engagement including agency and distributorship negotiations, import and export discussions, and supply chain partnership development within Indonesia’s marine sector. For professionals in port and waterfront architectural design, the exhibitor range offers direct access to marine-grade structural and surface materials suppliers.

INAMARINE Forum and Seminar

A concurrent programme of seminars and a dedicated forum addressing maritime industry developments, regulatory updates, technological innovation in shipbuilding, and offshore sector challenges. Academic support comes from institutions including Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), and Polimarin. The forum provides a knowledge exchange dimension that extends the event beyond pure product display.

Co-located Shows: INAWELDING and INACOATING

Running simultaneously, INAWELDING covers welding equipment, consumables, and related services, while INACOATING addresses industrial coatings, paints, resins, and composite materials. Both categories have direct application in building and infrastructure projects beyond the marine sector, making these shows of secondary interest to construction and specification professionals attending the cluster.

Audience

The event targets shipyard operators, offshore contractors, marine equipment importers and distributors, port and logistics operators, government procurement officials from the Ministry of Transportation, naval architects, marine engineers, and construction professionals engaged in port, waterfront, and offshore infrastructure projects across Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region.

✦ ArchUp Editorial Insight

INAMARINE sits at the outer boundary of the built environment field, yet it addresses infrastructure typologies that architectural practice rarely engages with in depth: shipyards, port terminals, offshore platforms, and coastal industrial facilities. These are large-scale building programmes that involve complex structural, material, and environmental performance requirements, yet they exist largely outside the mainstream architectural discourse. For professionals engaged in port urban design, waterfront regeneration, or coastal infrastructure, the exhibition offers practical intelligence on marine-grade materials, protective coating systems, and structural equipment that formal design events rarely surface. The seminar and forum component adds a knowledge dimension, though the programme leans toward sector operations and regulatory compliance rather than toward design research or spatial thinking. Its primary value remains in supply chain access and industry networking within Indonesia’s strategically significant maritime economy.

Closing Note

As Indonesia’s only annual B2B marine industry trade exhibition, INAMARINE holds a structurally important position in the country’s infrastructure and industrial events calendar, relevant to built environment professionals working at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and large-scale coastal and offshore construction.
