Karachi Biennale 2027

The 5th Karachi Biennale (KB27) will take place from January 16 to 31, 2027, in Karachi, Pakistan. Curated by Noor Ahmed, the biennale is dedicated to the theme “Tomorrow,” inviting audiences to imagine future possibilities through art, culture, and urban life.
Presented as a voyage through Karachi, KB27 explores the city as an urban archipelago of invention, mythologies, and diverse habitats. The exhibition will bring together artists and creative practitioners from around the world, with participation from approximately 50 countries.
The biennale will unfold across five venues throughout Karachi, featuring international exhibitions alongside artist talks, workshops, educational programs, and opportunities for public engagement. Through contemporary artistic practices and diverse perspectives, KB27 seeks to examine how cities, communities, and individuals can envision and shape the futures that lie ahead
