London Art Fair 2027

The 39th edition of London Art Fair will take place from January 20–24, 2027, with an exclusive VIP Preview on January 19, at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London. As one of the UK’s leading contemporary art fairs, the event brings together more than 120 leading galleries from the UK and around the world, presenting an extensive selection of modern and contemporary art.

The fair offers an engaging platform for collectors, curators, art professionals, and enthusiasts to discover established and emerging artists, explore diverse artistic practices, and connect with galleries representing significant voices in the international art scene.

The Main Fair will showcase exceptional modern and contemporary artworks spanning from the early 20th century to the present day, offering visitors a broad perspective on the development of modern and contemporary art.

A key feature of the 2027 edition is Encounters, a dedicated section highlighting innovative gallery presentations, emerging perspectives, and ambitious new ideas. The section is developed with the guidance of a specialist advisory committee, creating a focused environment for discovering fresh artistic talent and creative approaches.

The Platform section will be curated by Lisa Anderson, Associate Director at Messums London and Founder of Black British Art. The 2027 theme, “Together,” will explore ideas of community, belonging, and human connection through a carefully selected range of artistic presentations.
