The fifth edition of Material Matters London will take place from September 15 to 17, 2026, at UNLOCKED Shoreditch, 118 Curtain Road, London, as a key event of the inaugural Shoreditch Design Week during the London Design Festival.
The event brings together more than 50 leading brands, designers, and material innovators, presenting groundbreaking solutions and new approaches to sustainable design and material development. Visitors can explore innovations in circular construction, bio-based materials, compostable foams, waste-derived materials, and regenerative biomaterials, highlighting the future of responsible design and manufacturing.
The 2026 edition will feature notable participants including Front, showcasing waste-derived bricks and tiles, alongside Carbon Cell and The New Materialist. Special presentations will also include the annual Wood Awards shortlist and the Only Natural Awards cohort, offering visitors insight into some of the most innovative developments in material-led design.
