External cladding works have begun on the facades of the museum, which is 110 meters high, and will be located among many cultural facilities and destinations in the Royal Arts Complex located in that park.
The museum aims to provide rich knowledge content that showcases human civilization over thousands of years, reflecting the diversity of human experience and its development throughout history.
Its height reaches 110 meters, making it one of the tallest museums in the world. The building was designed by the famous Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill, who was inspired by Salmani architecture.
The museum offers various exhibits that highlight global civilizations, with a focus on highlighting the cultural and historical heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Museum of World Cultures is expected to open in 2026, to be a distinctive addition to the cultural scene in the Kingdom, and to contribute to achieving Saudi Vision 2030.
