FLOAT HOUSE World Architecture Competition

Overview

The FLOAT HOUSE World Architecture Competition invites architects and students worldwide to conceptualize an innovative floating house prototype. This unit must function independently, but also as part of a larger ensemble of 10 connected units, creating value in harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

These FLOAT HOUSE units will serve as eco-conscious tourist villas, and may be part of a larger onshore complex offering complementary services (not included in the scope of the competition). The goal is to explore architectural solutions that are both adaptable and environmentally integrated, redefining waterfront living.

The competition begins on May 1, 2025, and concludes with awards on August 13, 2025.
