Four architecture and design competitions with upcoming deadlines in China

“The project are going to be developed in two phases: the primary phase will consist mainly of constructing the Chang Jiang Delta grad school of Beijing Institute of Technology, which incorporates ‘Two Colleges and One Park;’ the second phase will contains preparing for the arrival of undergraduates. like the 2 phases of construction, the proposal call contains two levels of designing and architectural design: the primary level of designing is especially for the general site (comprised of 67 hectares of land), planning the longer term development of the entire Jiaxing campus, and to supply project plans for future phasing; the second level requires a selected architectural design for the primary phase of the 200,000 square metre building which can be the Chang Jiang Delta grad school (Research Institute), with a construction budget of RMB 1.5 billion (232 million USD).”

“Participants got to incorporate any relevant elements of the ‘Exotic building clusters within the Bund of Shanghai’ into the planning (these elements are often tangible or intangible, and participants are liberal to propose their own perceptions), while reflecting on the theme ‘New Decade, New Needs, New Ideas.’ The entries are often souvenirs, toys, stationery, tableware, home furnishings, clothing, business customization and other creative products. the only product price is suggested to not be above ¥200 (as a reference for product size and complexity). Each participant/team can submit at the most 3 entries. Students, designers and amateurs from all types of professional design fields are welcome!”
