The 2025 French Design Awards is a global celebration of architectural, interior, product, and packaging design excellence. The event embodies three distinct qualities: invigorating, powerful, and stylish. These attributes represent not only the spirit of the awards but also the dynamism of the global design industry.

Categories

The French Design Awards are structured around seven categories. These include architectural design, interior design, product design, packaging design, fashion design, landscape design, and conceptual design. Each category reflects the diversity and richness of the global design landscape, highlighting outstanding achievements and innovations.

Judging Panel

An esteemed panel of judges is responsible for evaluating the submissions. Comprised of senior-level experts, the panel includes professionals in the fields of interior design, product design, packaging design, fashion, landscape architecture, and architectural design. These individuals are carefully selected for their extensive experience and global perspective, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation of all entries.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions are judged based on creativity, the concept behind the design, and the clarity of the idea. Judges also assess how well the design meets the project brief, the objectives, and the overall execution. Visual appeal and innovation are important factors, alongside functionality and the effectiveness of the design in its intended purpose. Finally, judges consider the impact of the design and its memorability.

Eligibility

The French Design Awards welcomes entries from a wide array of participants. These include architects, interior designers, landscape architects, product designers, and packaging designers. Fashion designers, urban planners, and designers from various backgrounds are also encouraged to participate. Whether they are established professionals, companies, freelancers, hobbyists, or students, all designers with a compelling story are invited to submit their work.

Prizes

Winners of the 2025 French Design Awards receive several benefits. The most prestigious designs are recognized with a limited-edition trophy and a professionally designed certificate. Winners also have the opportunity to be featured in the French Design Awards Gallery, where their work will be showcased to a global audience of professionals. Additional recognition comes in the form of press releases distributed to major industry outlets, professionally designed logos for use in email signatures and on websites, and the option to purchase statuettes and customized certificates. Top-tier winners, including those awarded Platinum or Gold, will receive special recognition on social media platforms.
