Overview

TerraViva has launched LAGUNA VERE, a compelling new architecture competition that invites participants to reimagine the Laguna Vere complex — a striking brutalist aquatic center in Tbilisi, Georgia. This formerly vibrant structure, now abandoned, presents an extraordinary opportunity for transformation. The competition encourages architects and designers to envision innovative futures for the site, from a wellness retreat to a university campus or a creative hub.

The competition is open now, with the submission deadline on August 1st, 2025, and results to be announced on September 22nd, 2025.
