From 11th to 13th October, in the stunning setting of the Atrio dei Marmi Hall at the State Archive of Naples, MAS Design participated in EDIT Napoli with a new image and a brand-new campaign, launched to coincide with the event. Following the success of last year, the artisanal brand led by Maria Adele Savioli returned with a refreshed proposal, marked by significant creative evolution and the exploration of its minimalist-maximalist aesthetic approach.
The Salto collection was the focal point of MAS Design’s exhibition at the fair, a series of tables and side tables that highlight the soft, plastic forms of the sand, cement, and water mix from which they are crafted, in dialogue with the essential nature of aluminium. The brand’s minimalist-maximalist philosophy comes to life in this new line, where horizontal and vertical surfaces connect through fluid joints. The supporting structure, in satin-finished aluminium for the indoor models, becomes a refined design detail. For the outdoor models, the satin-finished aluminium is replaced with steel, ensuring greater resistance to weather conditions. An equilibrium of minimal, raw, and elegant lines that makes each table a unique piece, capable of fitting perfectly into both indoor and outdoor spaces.
The unique mix also plays a central role: the sands used can be sourced from recycled construction materials such as terracotta and marble, making each piece not only unique but also sustainable. The aluminium and steel components come from craftsmen who are particularly attentive to recyclability, further enhancing the eco-friendly nature of the collection.
The furniture line includes models in various sizes and shades, influenced by the aggregates in the mixture, and is distinguished by its finishes, which highlight its sculptural character, also available in three options.
Each piece in the collection is designed to be a functional sculpture, capable of defining a space and giving it a unique identity.
Also at EDIT Napoli, MAS Design unveiled a new visual campaign that reflects its new creative direction, embracing a contemporary language. MAS Design creations are not just furniture but true works of art that defy time.
In addition to the Saltocollection, the brand showcased some products planned for 2025, including the Pozzo collection, made with the same material as Salto, enriched with coloured glass tops. Although these products were not physically displayed at the fair, they represent an important evolution in the brand’s creative journey.
“With the latest collections and our new stylistic vision, we intend to continue exploring how matter can transform into form and engage in a dialogue with space. Each piece is designed to endure, both aesthetically and functionally, reflecting our constant balance between innovation and tradition”, said Maria Adele Savioli, co-founder and designer of the Italian-made brand.
MAS Design, with its works created in collaboration with master artisans from Romagna, offers monumental design that transcends trends and passing styles.
MAS DESIGN
MAS Design is a furniture architecture brand conceived and directed by Maria Adele Savioli. Created in collaboration with master artisans from her homeland of Romagna, MAS Design’s works are made to last in every sense. Minimal lines are combined with materials that are both substantial and refined, along with bold colour choices.
