Mecanoo & Meng Architects and LOLA Landscape win a competition to design the Guangming Scientist Valley,

Mecanoo, in collaboration with Meng Architects and LOLA Landscape Architects, has been selected

As winner of the Shenzhen Guangming Scientist Valley International Design Competition.

The aim of the project is to create a research and innovation facility that also engages a larger audience while integrating and coexisting with the natural surroundings.

The project includes an area of about 1.2 square kilometers strategically

located to serve the larger scientific community, from Guangdong to Hong Kong and Macau.
