Namasté is a set of three plates and trays in various sizes that Jean-Marie Massaud creates for Kartell. It has an organic, asymmetrical design.

French designer Jean-Marie Massaud innovatively crafts ‘Namasté’ for Kartell. A set of three differently sized plates and trays featuring an organic asymmetric design that calls to mind the idea of flat stones and an all-natural color scheme.

Right from architecture to objects, from macro environments down to micro contexts. Massaud has been brilliantly crafting an extensive range of projects, with his ability to harmoniously fuse elegance with comfort.

He works through a holistic approach that effortlessly captures the zeitgeist in an interesting way.

An earthy assortment arranged in a beach-like pattern

On the other hand, a symbol of Italian design with the aim of pursuing beauty – Kartell founded by Giulio Castelliis is known for its industrial production of the finest quality objects with new materials and cutting-edge technology.

Moreover, strongly reflects the designer’s love of nature. “Stacked like pebbles on a beach smoothed by the power of the ocean, this set makes an instant statement and its unique asymmetric shapes seamlessly blend together,” says Massaud.

Skillfully fabricated from high-quality melamine, this minimalistic product is available in a mèlange of alluring soothing color combinations that either complement or contrast each other. Therefore, adding another level to its aesthetic.
“These individual eclectic sets can mix and match to create mellow tone-on-tone nuances or bold contrasts!” Massaud adds.
