Revealing NEOM’s vision for the future of architectural design,

The NEOM project shone the spotlight on the future of architectural design,

as part of the opening of the Suppliers Forum, which took place on September 6-7, in London.

NEOM has invited a group of international architectural engineering firms;

To provide details of the new project, which is considered one of the largest projects in the world.

NEOM is considered the gateway to the future for architectural design and urban development,

as it shows the development and qualitative shift in the art of architectural design.

The distinguished engineering personality, Engineer Nazmi Al-Nasr, CEO of the “NEOM” project,

played a leading role in the forum.

Al-Nasr provided an in-depth look at the project and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030,

thanks to his extensive experience in establishing oil projects and large development projects.

He stressed the efforts exerted to achieve the ambitious aspirations of the Kingdom.

Speech of Eng. Nazmi Al-Nasr

This was the most prominent thing that engineer Nazmi Al-Nasr talked about,

The Line project, where he emphasized that the basic idea of this project arose from an architectural competition.

Over time, ideas and designs developed, until matters reached an ambitious and abstract level,

under the directives of the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who showed great interest in the project.

It was stated that the NEOM project, in its development,

went through stages that are considered an exceptional journey that carries within it a lot of effort and innovation.

Where the vision began with a simple visualization of a longitudinal city, but the ambition had no limits.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stood behind this idea and sought to develop it and push it to the greatest extent.

And through the sessions that he devoted to thinking about the future of the project,

he realized that there is a possibility to push the design forward. From a longitudinal city,

buildings with a height of 200 meters were directed.

While the vision did not stop there, in contact with international construction and crane companies,

it became clear that there is potential to achieve more than that.

From here, he started thinking about buildings with a height of 500 meters,

in a move that is considered revolutionary in the world of architecture, as it is not just a technical development,

Rather, it is a reflection of the vision of a visionary ruler who sees beyond the horizon and seeks to make the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a role model in the field of development and sustainable architecture.

It is worth noting that the astonishment was evident on the faces of the architects participating in the event,

as this project cannot be compared to any other project in the world.

Some have compared it to the technological revolutions brought about by pioneers like Elon Musk,

but this time, in the field of architecture.

NEOM is not just an urban project, but a vision for the future of infrastructure and design in the 21st century.
