Recognizing Global Excellence in Architectural Innovation

The 2025 NY Architectural Design Awards celebrates exceptional architectural achievements, honoring designs that challenge conventions and redefine skylines, communities, and living spaces. This global platform provides a unique opportunity for architects, designers, and students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and vision on an international stage.

Eligibility and Submission Requirements

Entries are open to design professionals, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, urban planners, students, and innovators aged 18 and above. Submissions must reflect work completed within the past five calendar years and should be presented as initially published or implemented.

Participants must provide:

  • A detailed synopsis (approximately 350 words) elaborating on their project.
  • High-resolution images in JPEG or JPG format, under 4MB, at 300 dpi, 1,200 pixels wide.
  • Audio or video entries via direct URLs to platforms like Vimeo or YouTube, accompanied by a PDF brief if required.

Entry Fees and Deadlines

  • Early Bird: Nov 8 – Dec 11, 2024 ($209)
  • Regular: Dec 12, 2024 – Jan 20, 2025 ($219)
  • Final: Jan 21 – Feb 19, 2025 ($239)
  • Final Extension: Feb 20 – Mar 21, 2025 ($249)
  • Last Minute: Mar 22 – Apr 23, 2025 ($259)

Levels of Achievement

The awards recognize excellence across three levels:

  • Design of the Year: One winner per category, the highest honor.
  • Gold Winner: Scoring 85–100 points.
  • Silver Winner: Scoring 60–84 points.

Judging Process

The judging process is blind, ensuring impartiality, and entries are assessed by a diverse jury panel of experienced professionals. Evaluation criteria include creativity, originality, functionality, sustainability, and overall impact. Judges assign scores from 1 to 100 based on these elements.

Results and Recognition

Winners will be announced on May 16, 2025, on the official NY Architectural Design Awards website. Recognized participants will receive:

  • Professionally designed certificates.
  • Press release templates for industry recognition.
  • Features in the online winners’ gallery and on media platforms.
  • Statuettes for Design of the Year winners and optional for Gold/Silver winners.
