The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC 2025) has officially opened submissions for its prestigious annual awards, including the RAIC Gold Medal, the Architectural Practice Award, and the Emerging Architectural Practice Award. Other categories accepting submissions are the RAIC Advocate for Architecture Award, the RAIC Architectural Journalism and Media Award, and the RAIC Research & Innovation in Architecture Award. Additionally, the Prix du XXe Siècle returns this year with revised Terms of Reference.

The RAIC 2025 annual awards celebrate the creativity, innovation, and excellence shaping Canadian architecture. They recognize projects, individuals, and practices that have made a meaningful contribution to improving the built environment and enhancing quality of life. The awards provide a platform for national recognition of exemplary work that pushes the boundaries of architecture.

Submission Details and Deadlines

The deadline for submissions for the 2025 annual awards is 10:00 p.m. ET on January 13, 2025. All applications must be submitted through the RAIC’s online platform. This deadline is firm, and no exceptions will be made.
