The Re-Draw 08 competition invites participants to create a drawing that reinterprets an iconic architectural piece, The White House. The goal is to develop a new perspective of the building, with creativity and critical analysis at its core. Participants are encouraged to use varied scales, techniques, and abstraction levels to explore innovative angles, aesthetics, and design aspects of the White House.

The drawing can focus on different elements of the building, offering flexibility in approach, from hyper-realistic depictions to abstract interpretations. Participants may choose to represent the entire building or a part of it, or even create a collage of disconnected moments, thus offering a completely adaptable project.

Judging Criteria

The jury will assess submissions based on:

  • Creativity and innovation in the reinterpretation of The White House.
  • The level of critical analysis and engagement with the building’s functional and aesthetic aspects.
  • The originality of the drawing technique and approach.
