You should have a PhD or equivalent in power engineering, and ideally have a background in modelling of power electronics in power systems, and telecommunications, for example in smartgrid systems. Experience in working with a RTDS is desirable but not essential (training will be provided). You should be capable of working under your own initiative and communicating with a research team, so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required.
