SIT Furniture Design Award 2022: SIT Furniture Design Awards, a competition that recognizes, celebrates, and promotes brilliant international Furniture Designers, Brands, Manufacturers, Emerging talents as well as Visionaries enhancing our daily life with innovation, has been recently announced for entries in it 2022 edition.
About Competition
The 2022 SIT Furniture Design Award is now accepting entries into its two major categories, Furniture Design and Interior Design.
The SIT Furniture Design Award is a way to celebrate and share the remarkable work of furniture designers and those who use furniture in their projects. Creativity, innovative vision, and accessibility in the furniture design community deserve to be applauded and shared widely, across the world.
SIT Furniture Design Awards exists to recognize, celebrate, and promote brilliant international Furniture Designers, Brands, Manufacturers, Emerging talents as well as Visionaries enhancing our daily life with innovation. SIT focuses on “Seat and Beyond”, rewarding strategic thinking and imagination which goes into making great equipment.
Moreover, with 11 categories represented and 109 subcategories, SIT is one of the most comprehensive furniture design competitions, uniting creativity, and innovation.
The prestigious international jury, made up of architects, interior designers, professors, editors, and academics will carefully select the SIT Furniture Design Award winners.
SIT Furniture Design Award 2022 – Entry fees
Professional entry cost $220 and student entry cost $110. Additionally, there’s a 50% discount when entering your design in additional categories. You can benefit from a 15% Early Fees discount until August 15th, 2022.
Eligibility
The 2022 SIT Furniture Design Award welcomes submissions from professional, emerging designers and students.
Prize
The winner will receive a cash prize of CHF 3’000 to create a prototype or to start production.
Furthermore, the “Furniture Design of the year” and “Interior Design of the Year” professionals and students will receive the coveted SIT Design Award Trophy. They will be able to showcase their winning projects to the global audience and feature them in the Annual SIT Award catalog. Therefore, winning the SIT Design Awards is an opportunity to step into the global spotlight, and boost the company profile/start career.
