The Sketching Battle – Architecture and Movement competition, sponsored by Rhodia, invites participants from around the world to showcase their creativity through hand-drawn sketches. The competition focuses on the theme of “Architecture and Movement,” challenging entrants to depict the dynamic relationship between structures and motion through a single sketch. Whether using abstract, technical, or perspective drawing, participants will explore how architecture interacts with elements such as people, light, air, and the transformation of space over time.

This competition emphasizes a return to the fundamentals of architectural practice, highlighting the timeless relevance of hand-drawing. Entrants are free to base their sketches on real-life environments or fictional designs, providing an opportunity to express the fluidity and dynamism that characterize our interactions with the built world.

The Sketching Battle – Architecture and Movement competition has a prize of €1,000, with submissions due on 31st January 2025.
