She adds, “People often think the building is listed as a historic site, but it isn’t.” However, the building’s history influenced the way it was renovated. She confirms, “When we renovated the space five years ago, I didn’t want to change too much in order to respect the original features. I wanted it to feel like a place where clients, whether from London or visiting, would truly feel at home.”

Even the “bimah” (the elevated platform used for reading the Torah) remains. Additionally, the stained-glass window above it and those surrounding the ceiling’s walls allow natural light to flood the expansive reception area from above.
