Use of high quality particleboard products for interior design,

Architectural designers have turned to organic and natural materials,

as well as products that successfully mimic them, and this trend continues to gain popularity in interior design.

And in the past year in particular, as stone restrictions have significantly affected the amount of time people spend in their homes,

the industry has seen an increase in demand for products that are able to bring nature and visual comfort indoors – be it in the form of furniture or other decorative items.

It is without a doubt a design movement born to stay.

However, in addition to paying attention to things inspired by nature,

the primary consideration for architects and designers when selecting a material is often its quality, resistance, and maintenance needs.

So it is ideal to combine natural look and functionality when creating a user friendly indoor environment.

With this in mind, EGGER, a manufacturer of wood materials,

has expanded the use of varnishes to develop a new line that combines an organic look with other beneficial properties.

Lacquer panels are variable, resistant and sustainable

PerfectSense Feelwood lacquered panels, which are created by combining PerfectSense Matt lacquered panels and Feelwood surfaces.

While the former provides a smooth, resistant and easy-to-maintain matte surface with anti-fingerprint properties,

the latter replicates the original properties of wood, both in look and feel.

Thus, the new board, as the first in the industry to combine two successful high-quality products,

provides a matte lacquer surface with a porous texture in sync with the respective decoration style.

It thus becomes a realistic and cost-effective alternative to real wood while simultaneously meeting the trend of matte velvet surfaces.

Similar to matte panels, the new alternative to lacquer features an anti-fingerprint feature

that demonstrates its effectiveness with darker colors, where fingerprints are almost invisible.

The surface is also anti-bacterial and particularly resistant to stains,

scratches and common cleaning agents, requiring less cleaning effort and easy maintenance.

While veneer is unsuitable in many applications because it does not tolerate moisture and heat,

the matte surface has proven to be resistant.

In addition, wood panels are sourced from 89% of renewable resources and 70% of recycled materials or by-products from the sawmill industry.

This not only makes the manufacturing process more efficient,

but also provides a sustainable option in the context of climate change where the demand for environmentally friendly materials is growing exponentially.

Multiple applications in interior design

The product’s many qualities give it a wide range of possibilities in the furniture and interior design industry,

in addition to coordinating the pieces to size that can meet different requirements.

Perfect Sense Feel wood lacquered boards are ideal for vertical and horizontal use,

by providing resistance and aesthetics.

From kitchen facades and bathroom furniture, to wall cladding and living room or bedroom applications,

among other design options.

Its woody look, adaptability, and durability all make it ideal for timeless pieces in both private and public life.

It is also suitable for offices, hotels and shops.

The new innovative panel range offers five new wood versions,

in addition to the popular black color with a new matte surface.

The six decorative products also use different types of wood that respond to the essence of the material by incorporating natural elements and colors,

to complement the original hardwood experience.

For example, while Cuneo oak has a weak wood and Garonne oak has a reflective nature,

Halifax oak has small cracks and rustic oak has a natural slate.

  1. Cuneo White Oak: Separate succulent wood with a woody look
  2. Garonne Oak Dark Brown: Reflects black pores and cracks
  3. Rustic smoked oak: wind cracks and the appearance of joined wood panels
  4. Noble Chestnut Gray: Narrow rosettes in a natural color that are slightly grayish
  5. Black: authentic looking solid wood texture
  6. Halifax Brown Oak: Modern dark wood grain with wind chimes

With many application options and variations,

Perfect Sense Feel wood lacquered boards offer a functional and sustainable material while being unsurpassably natural in terms of sight and touch.
