Baumer Series, Tatiana Bilbao

Tatiana Bilbao is the founding Principal and CEO of Tatiana Bilbao ESTUDIO, an architecture firm based in Mexico City. The studio aims to integrate social values, collaboration, and sensitive design approaches to architectural work, and has completed projects including the Veracruz Towers, Casa Sorteo TEC, and the Ciudadela.

Baumer Series, Tatiana Bilbao is also the William Henry Bishop Visiting Professor at Yale and has taught at Harvard University GSD, AA Association in London, Columbia University GSAPP, Rice University, the University of Andrés Bello in Chile, and Peter Behrens School of Arts at HS Dusseldorf in Germany. Before founding her firm, Bilbao was an Advisor in the Ministry of Development and Housing of the Government of the Federal District of Mexico City. Bilbao is the recipient of the Kunstpreis Berlin, the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, an Impact Award, the Marcus Prize Award, the Tau Sigma Delta Gold Medal, an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Richard Neutra Award, and the AW Architect of the Year.
