Call for Entries: Transversal Installation Competition is now OPEN!
Shorten those distances with a new experience and take part in the Transversal Installation Competition! Organized by New Arch Competitions in partnership with TRANSVERSAL – Architecture and Design Festival of Panama, the competition provides an opportunity for students and young architects to design a revolutionary way of architecture through creativity and sustainability in an ephemeral installation to be completed and exhibited for the Festival in January 2024!
Site
Ciudad del Saber” (City of Knowledge), a Panamanian landmark for the preservation and advancement of historical heritage, sustainable growth, and people-centered urban development, will host the competition. This campus provides the chance to explore interconnected routes and spaces filled with attractions and possibilities.
Challenge
Designers are invited to design an ephemeral installation for open public spaces that encourages meaningful human experiences and brings together disconnected places. The installation should employ sustainable and creative methods to emphasize the idea of bridging distances.
