For the 28th annual Tile Competition, Ceramics of Italy is currently accepting submissions from top North American architects and designers who have used Italian ceramic and porcelain tile to make unique installations in built projects round the world. a world jury of design experts will review submissions from everywhere the continent and choose winners in five categories: Commercial, Institutional, Residential (Multi-Family), Residential (Single-Family), and Student. Projects must are completed between January 2016 and March 2021 and have tile from one or more Ceramics of Italy manufacturers.

Built project winners will enjoy a 5-day CEU trip to Bologna, Italy for Cersaie 2021, the world’s leading exhibition of ceramic tile and toilet furnishings, plus the chance to present their projects at Coverings 2021 in Orlando, FL. The competition is additionally hospitable architecture & design students enrolled at accredited North American universities, who are invited to submit creative renderings of imagined spaces featuring Italian tile.
