Major Design Fairs in Mexico 2027
3 February، 2027 @ 12:00 pm - 7 February، 2027 @ 8:00 pm

Mexico will host a dynamic lineup of major design fairs in 2027, reinforcing its position as one of Latin America’s most influential destinations for contemporary design, architecture, interiors, and collectible objects. The year’s highlights include the highly anticipated debut of Alcova Mexico City, the nomadic collectible design fair Unique Design X, the renowned Zona Maco Design, and the established Habitat Expo.
Taking place during Mexico City Art Week in February 2027, Alcova Mexico City will mark the fair’s first Latin American edition, transforming a selection of historic and modernist locations — including Casa Palomar, Bucareli School, and Villa Reforma — into immersive spaces for experimental design, emerging creativity, and international collaborations. The event will bring together designers, galleries, artists, and cultural institutions in a unique dialogue between architecture, heritage, and contemporary innovation.
Running alongside Art Week, Unique Design X Mexico City will present a curated selection of collectible design from regional and international galleries. Known for its nomadic format, the fair focuses on limited-edition furniture, artistic objects, and innovative design practices, offering a platform for designers pushing the boundaries between art and functionality.
Also part of Mexico City’s leading cultural season, Zona Maco Design will showcase a dedicated program celebrating furniture, decorative arts, and functional design. As part of one of Latin America’s most prominent contemporary art platforms, the event attracts collectors, galleries, architects, designers, and industry professionals from around the world.
Later in the year, Habitat Expo 2027 will take place from May 27 to 29, 2027, at the World Trade Center / Pepsi Center in Mexico City. Focused on interior design, architecture, hospitality, and commercial spaces, the expo serves as a key meeting point for manufacturers, suppliers, designers, and professionals seeking the latest trends, materials, and solutions for the built environment.
Together, these events position Mexico City as a major hub for design innovation in 2027, connecting Latin American creativity with global design movements and offering valuable opportunities for networking, discovery, and collaboration across the design industry.
