The 9th Yokohama Triennale will take place from April 23 to September 12, 2027, at the Yokohama Museum of Art and various art spaces across Yokohama, Japan. Curated by Cosmin Costinaș and Inti Guerrero, the exhibition will bring together contemporary artists and diverse artistic practices from Japan and around the world.
Coinciding with GREEN×EXPO 2027, the Triennale will explore ideas related to coexistence with nature, ecology, and the relationship between people and their surrounding environments. Through exhibitions, installations, and site-specific projects presented across the city, the 9th edition will encourage visitors to engage with contemporary art while discovering new perspectives on society, nature, and the future.
With Yokohama serving as both the main exhibition site and an important part of the artistic experience, the Triennale will offer an expansive program connecting museums, independent art spaces, and public areas throughout the city.
