The concept of a house is both universal and distinctly unique to every individual person and every culture from every a part of the planet . From big cities to small towns to tiny rural villages, each culture is influenced by its own history, politics, economy, and resources in how they define a home. The Modular Home Design Challenge 2021 is that the first during a series of annual competitions that specialize in the concept of modular architecture. together of the foremost versatile sorts of design, modular architecture offers creative, efficient, and sustainable solutions when designing homes and living spaces. Operating either as a building block that’s a part of an integrated system, or as a stand-alone entity, modular construction breaks from traditional built projects and allows novel designs to be realised.

For this competition, participants are tasked with designing a modular home which will be constructed in any form or layout. The modular home are often set during a location of their choice, either rural, urban, or suburban. The jury are going to be trying to find design concepts that show a critical appraisal of what a house is and will be in an increasingly interconnected and technology-driven world.
