SOCB invites global innovators to present transformative projects, breakthroughs, or conceptual ideas that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. With sustainability at its core, this exhibition offers a prestigious platform for groundbreaking research and visionary designs that address the climate crisis and champion resilient, future-oriented urban development.

Purpose

SOCB’s Sustainable SIX is a unique opportunity to reveal and celebrate projects that challenge traditional approaches in sustainability and urban development. The event focuses on revolutionary ideas hidden within research and blueprints, aiming to inspire change and showcase global talent dedicated to reimagining cities and environments. This exhibition seeks to elevate ideas that foster thriving and sustainable urban landscapes, spanning diverse disciplines including Product Design, Engineering, Architecture, Heritage Conservation, Environmental Landscape, and Urban Planning.

Categories

Submissions are invited across six key project categories that each represent crucial areas in sustainable development:

  • C1: Product + Industrial + Innovative Materials
  • C2: Engineering + Technology + Construction
  • C3: Architecture + Interior + Design
  • C4: Heritage Documentation + Conservation + Restoration
  • C5: Landscape + Environmental + Preservation
  • C6: Urbanism + Planning + Transportation

Exhibition Details

Exceptional projects will be featured at an exclusive exhibition in Vienna, Austria, celebrated as the world’s leading city for quality of life. The top 18 projects will be prominently displayed, while a total of 54 shortlisted projects, encompassing a diverse range of ideas, will be published in a special edition book. This prestigious showcase and publication will offer global visibility for participants, emphasizing their contribution to shaping a sustainable future.

Selection Process

SOCB will shortlist 54 projects, with the top 18 projects selected for exhibition. Projects will be evaluated based on their innovation, alignment with sustainable development goals, and potential to impact urban sustainability. This is a valuable opportunity for thought leaders and pioneering designers to gain global recognition.
