Tamayouz Excellence Award: Iraq Pavilion Design

The Tamayouz Excellence Award extends an invitation to architects, designers, engineers, and artists to participate in designing the Iraq Pavilion for a global exposition at the prestigious Baghdad International Fairgrounds. This competition offers an exceptional opportunity to shape Iraq’s global narrative through architectural and design excellence. The winning participants will receive a fully paid employment opportunity at Dewan Architects and Engineers in Dubai for six months, with the possibility of extending to one year.

Project Brief

Participants are tasked with designing the Iraq Pavilion along with the surrounding main plaza. This pavilion will serve as a permanent structure for global gatherings at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds. The competition seeks visionary designs that reflect Iraq’s cultural heritage while embracing modern architectural trends, creating a pavilion that stands as a symbol of national pride on the global stage.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all architects, engineers, designers, and students. Individuals or teams of up to eight members are welcome to participate, with a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary collaboration.
