Announcing the creation of the new global destination for mountain tourism “Trogina”,

Within the framework of NEOM’s plan and strategy to contribute to the support and development of the tourism sector in the region,

Saudi Crown Prince “Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz”, Chairman of the NEOM Board of Directors,

announced the establishment of “Trogina”, the new global destination for mountain tourism.

The project, which will contribute to redefining the concept of global mountain tourism by providing an environmentally friendly tourism system in all its dimensions.

and confirms the continuation of the endeavor to activate global efforts to preserve the components of nature.

Trogina also constitutes an important and qualitative addition to the tourism projects in the region,

based on the optimal investment in the geographical and environmental diversity of the various regions of the Kingdom in accordance with modern and advanced visions,

which contributes to the diversification of sources.

Trogina highlights NEOM‘s values and bold plans as a land where nature blends with innovative technologies in a unique global experience.

The new project is a major contribution to achieving NEOM’s long-term ambitions,

by adhering to the principles of sustainability, and harnessing the latest technologies and engineering in its various disciplines,

to make NEOM an integrated and attractive destination in the world.

The Trogina project is a unique engineering innovation unparalleled in the entire world,

where the charming nature of the Neum Mountains harmonizes with the developed tourist sites in them.

In order to provide a new and unprecedented experience in the world that reflects the futuristic style of the NEOM Mountains, living, working and entertaining in NEOM.

A prominent feature of the Trogina project in the region in general and the Arab Gulf countries in particular, is outdoor ice skating.

In order to provide an unparalleled experience, especially in the desert climate that characterizes the Gulf countries,

where amateurs and professionals can enjoy a network of ski runs of different difficulties.

This is through many wonderful views, including the blue waters of the Red Sea and the beauty of the Neom Mountains terrain,

in addition to the golden sand dunes of the desert.

Along the net in an unparalleled paradox in the world,

skiers get a first-of-its-kind experience with this exclusivity in a diverse environment that combines mountains, water and desert.

The new tourism destination project “Trogina”, which will be available throughout the year,

will also include a series of facilities and amenities.

Sports such as water sports, cycling, and an interactive nature reserve.

The development of the project is scheduled for completion in 2026.

The project will develop according to international standards,

in order to enrich the lives of residents and visitors and enhance their well-being, including holding sports,

Trogina aims to attract more than 700,000 visitors and approximately 7,000 permanent residents in the Trogina Village and adjacent residential sectors by 2030

The project will create more than 10,000 jobs and add 3 billion Saudi riyals to the GDP by 2030.

Trogina project consists of 6 neighborhoods: Gateway, Discovery, Valley, Research, Relax and Fun.

All are designed to provide activities that meet different tastes and needs,

and will be developed according to architectural specifications that take into account environmental sustainability

and preserve different living organisms, as well as preserve and sustain nature.

The region is also characterized by clean air, beautiful landscapes and climatic diversity,
