The 67th Year Annual NASA Design Competition (ANDC), hosted by the National Association of Students of Architecture, India, invites participants to redefine design thinking in a way that uplifts humanity and fosters inclusivity. This competition encourages students to not only design physical spaces but to craft environments that promote compassion and equity.

Ar. Dean D’Cruz will moderate this year’s event, guiding participants to think beyond conventional architectural frameworks. The challenge is to create designs that have a positive impact on communities and individuals, promoting both social change and environmental sustainability.

This year’s competition emphasizes the responsibility that architects and designers have in shaping the world through their work. Participants are urged to consider how their designs can influence human behavior, societal development, and environmental stewardship.

Registration & Eligibility

Each institute affiliated with NASA India is entitled to one free entry, with additional entries requiring a registration fee of 1,000 INR per entry. The competition is open to students worldwide, encouraging a diverse and global approach to design solutions.

  • Release of Brief: 25th September, 2024
  • Registration Deadline: 25th October, 2024 (by 18:00 IST)
  • Queries Deadline: 20th October, 2024
  • Submission Deadline: 15th November, 2024 (by 18:00 IST)
